By using Gently Parenting, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We don't sell your data. We don't show you ads. We don't share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted services to run Gently Parenting:
- RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions and validates purchases across iOS and Android. RevenueCat receives transaction data from Apple and Google to verify your subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play: Processes payments. We don't receive or store your payment card details.
- Supabase: Your account and app data are stored in Supabase, which provides our hosted database and backend infrastructure. Supabase processes this data on our behalf as a service provider. Depending on how our project is configured, data may be held in the UK, the EEA, or other regions with appropriate safeguards under UK GDPR. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.

Children's privacy
Gently Parenting is for parents and caregivers, not for children to use directly. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children on their own behalf. Information you enter about your baby is provided by you as parent or guardian, not collected from the child.
